(i) AGE: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2010 (Candidates born after 31st December1993 need not apply).

(ii) Minimum Qualification: 
 
(a) MBBS /BDS/BAMS  : The Candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. ISC/ Intermediate or its equivalent. After a period of 12 years of study. The last two years of such study comprising Physics , Chemistry, Biology and English from a Recognized Board/University and must have passed in all the above subjects. The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the qualifying examination In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCs the marks obtained in be Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the qualifying examination be 40% in lieu of 50% for general Candidates.

(b) BHMS :- The candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be eligible. 
 
The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination (XII) and result is not yet available are also eligible to appear in the common pre –medical entrance examination but such candidates shall submit the mark sheet of the qualifying examination (XII) on and before the date specified in the information brochure.

Like previous years the Uttaranchal Council of Entrance Examination, an association formed by the private unaided Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Colleges of Uttarakhand would be conducting the Common Pre-Medical Entrance Examination for admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS & BHMS courses through a reputed examining body for the year 2010 as per the details given below:-
