PATTERN OF QUESTIONS IN ENTRANCE TEST
Questions for M.Phil. entrance examination will be both objective and/or descriptive based on the PG level course.
Time duration of entrance examination will be 2 hours. Full Marks is 100 and there is no negative marking.
The candidates are requested to report at least one hour before the commencement of examination.
The candidates are required to bring the following documents with them positively to the examination centre: i) Admit Cards (both Office Copy and Candidate’s Copy) with a recent passport size photograph affixed on the Office Copy. ii) Photocopies of Provisional Certificate and mark sheet(s)* of the last qualifying examination.
Postgraduate
degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% (50% in case of SC/ST
candidates) marks in aggregate or OGPA of 5.5. (5 in case of SC/ST
candidates)
For
Women’s Studies and International Studies, it is open to all
post-graduate degree holders with 55% marks in aggregate at PG level
M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) courses in the following disciplines
Regular Courses : (Applied Geography, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, Education, English, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Odia, Physics, Political Science, Sociology, Zoology ) Self-financing Courses : International Studies Self-financing Courses : Women’s Studies
The entrance test will be held in Ravenshaw University, Cuttack.
