Admission to the various Post Graduate Programmes in the Post Graduate Departments and Centres for Studies of Dibrugarh University in the session 2012-2013 shall be done on merit as well as performance in the Dibrugarh University Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET).
The DUPGET shall be based on the concerned subject(s) and shall consist of 50 Nos. of Multiple- Choice Objective type questions carrying 2 Marks each. The total marks of the Entrance Test shall be 100 and the duration shall be of two hours.
All candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for applying to the various programmes as specified in the Dibrugarh University Information Brochure shall be eligible to appear in the Entrance Test. The candidates appearing in the Degree Examination and waiting for their results may also appear in the DUPGET. However, their eligibility for admission shall be finalized only after declaration and submission of the Degree results.

Dibrugarh University Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) shall be conducted for the Post Graduate Programmes in Assamese, Anthropology, Applied Geology, Bioinformatics, Commerce, Chemistry, Economics, Education, English, Geography, History, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science, Petroleum Technology, Philosophy, Sociology, and Statistics.
