Note:
- 5% of the total seats will be offered to the foreign students.
- 5% of the total seats will be offered to CW
(Children/Widow/Wives of the of? cers and men of the armed forces,
including paramilitary personnel, killed/died/disabled in action or in
duty) category.
- 3% seats are reserved for Physically Challenged (PC) candidates.
1, 2 and 3 are supernumerary. - The seat matrix may be revised every year as per the directive of the University of Delhi regarding reservation.
- The candidate should have passed or have appeared in March/April
2009 in Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other
examination considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.
- (a) The candidate should secure an aggregate of
atleast 60% marks (55% for SC, ST, CW and PC categories) in four papers
including English for BBS applicants.
(b) The
candidate should secure an aggregate of atleast 60% marks (55% for SC,
ST, CW and PC categories) in four papers including English &
Mathematics for BFIA applicants.
The other papers are to be from the following list: Accountancy,
Biology, Biotechnology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics,
Entrepreneurship, Geography, History, Informatics Practices,
Introductory Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science,
Psychology, Public Administration, Secretarial Practices, Social
Science, Sociology, Word Processing.
- The candidate must produce the con? rmed result and marksheet of
the qualifying examination on the day of the Group Discussion and
Personal Interview to be eligible for the process of admission.
Candidates who do not have the con? rmed marksheet will not be
entertained under any circumstances.
- Compartment cases of current year will not be considered for admission.
- Foreign nationals seeking admission to BBS/BFIA program against the
prescribed quota of seats earmarked to them, shall have to apply
through the Foreign Students Advisor, C/o Faculty of Management
Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi – 110 007 and are exempted from the
Written Examination, Group Discussion and Interview.
- Those foreign students who have acquired their minimum quali?
cation for admission from any Indian Board, in India have to apply to
the college (Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies) directly as
General category candidate. They have to appear for the entrance test
like general category candidates and follow the same selection process
as applicable to general category and in addition ?ll up the foreign
student application form of FSR of? ce (downloadable from:
http://www.du.ac.in/forms/foreignstudents1.pdf). All admission of
foreign students are channeled through the Foreign Students Registry
(FSR) of? ce of University of Delhi.
The examination will be of two hours
duration, and will test Business Aptitude, General Awareness,
Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, and Verbal
Pro? ciency in the English language. Based on the performance in the written
examination, shortlisted candidates (approximately four times the
number of seats for the respective categories) shall appear for Group
Discussion and Interview. The group
discussion & interview will be held at Shaheed Sukhdev College of
Business Studies. The shortlisted candidates must appear in the group
discussion as well as the interview to be eligible for admission.
On the day of the interview the
candidates must submit the con? rmed result of the qualifying exam and
proof of other eligibility requirements, failing which the candidate
will lose claim to admission.
Final Selection for all categories will be made on the following basis:
Written Exam – 50% |
