The
admission to the MTech Program would be made on the basis of the valid
Gate score of the candidates and in case of the unavailability of the
GATE score holders the seats could be allotted on the basis of merit of
B.E/B.Tech maintaining the minimum of 55% aggregate. The counseling
for the 10 no. of General seats, 05 sponsored and 03 SC/ST would be
held at the Institute purely on the merit basis.
Candidate
should have successfully passed the Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
/Technology or equivalent from an AICTE approved Institute with at
least 55% marks. Preference would be given to GATE qualified
candidates.
There will be no age restriction however preference would be given to those who are below 45 years of age.
A
letter of the employer is to be furnished stating that the candidate is
being sponsored to get admission and also indicating that the candidate
will not withdraw midway till full completion of course.
Admission
to Full Time MTech Program for NOn-Sponsored Category would be made
through GATE. On account of unavailability of GATE qualified
canditates, admission may be given to non-GATE candidates on merit
based on Graduation percentage.
For
admissions, candidates need to register in the Institute latest by 30th
June 2008 tentatively. Registration forms can be obtained from our
Institute, Unison School of Law,DIT School of Engineering(Greater Noida) and our Delhi Corporate office or could be downloaded from www.dit.edu.in.Graduation in any stream with Maths as one of the subjects either at Graduation or 10+2 level.
The admission to 50% Uttarakhand seats would be made through State level counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University,
Dehradun. The basis of this counselling is the merit based on rank
obtained by the students in Uttarakhand Technical University Entrance
Examination-2008.
The
35% All India seats and 15% Management seats would be filled up by the
Institute on the basis of UTUEE-2008 merit by way of counseling.
The
remaining seats if any after the counselling could be filled up
directly by the Institute provided candidates fulfill the eligibility
criteria with minimum 50% marks.
For admission to the General category seats, Uttarakhand Technical University
advertises the counselling schedule in the National dailies like Times
of India, Amar Ujala and Dainik Jagran etc. Detailed information can

for Management category admissions, candidates need to register in the

Admission Procedure:

Bachelor of Architect (BArch)
1. The
candidate should have passed an examination at the end of new 10+2
scheme of Senior School Certificate examination or equivalent with
Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate.
2. NATA
Test clearence i,e 40% or above score. No student without qualifying
NATA Test will be registered as an Architect by Council of Architecture
after graduation in Architecture. By Council of Architecture New Delhi.
Admission Procedure:
The
admission to 85% of the total seats (50% Uttarakhand and 35% All India)
would be made through State level counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
The reservation would be applicable as per State Govt. policy.
15%
Management admissions are done directly by the institute by conducting
institute level counseling on the combined merit based on the aggregate
marks of 10+2 & score of NATA test on the basis of 50:50 basis.
State Govt.approval and the orders from time to time.
NRI
Seats Out of 15% Management seats 5% seats are reserved for the NRI
candidates NRI seats would be filled up as per the AICTE norms i.e. by
the NRI’s who have passed the qualifying examination with Maths as a
compulsory subjects from an institute situated outside India which is
considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian
Universities.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)Should
have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) Examination with Physics and Chemistry,
as compulsory subjects and Biology / Mathematics/Bio
Technology/Computer Science and English as subjects of study with at
least 50% marks for the general category and 45% marks for the
SC/ST/OBC candidates. Those appearing in 10+2 may also apply.
NRI Seats: Out
of 15% Management seats 5% seats are reserved for the NRI

Graduation in any stream with a valid MAT score
Admission Procedure:
Admissions
would be done on the basis of the scores obtained by candidates in the
Management Aptitude Test conducted by the Centre of Management Studies
(CMS) of All Indian Management Association (AIMA).
The
admission to the MBA Program would be given on the basis of the valid
MAT Score of September 2007, December 2007, Feb 2008 and May 2008.
The
admission counselling for 100% seats (85% General + 15% Management)
would be organized by the Institute based on the merit of Management
Aptitude Test (MAT).
The
remaining seats if any after the counselling could be filled directly
by the candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.
