Bachelor of Arts (BA)
A
candidate for being eligible for admission to the three year integrated
course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts must have passed the
Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) examination conducted by
the different Divisional Board of the Maharashtra State Board of
Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, with the following subjects :-
i) English
ii) Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any Classical Language. iii) Any four subjects carrying 100 marks each.
OR
Must
have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII)
Examination with Vocational subjects conducted by the different
Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher
Secondary Education with the following subjects:-
i) English
ii) Any one Vocational subject carrying 200 marks prescribed by the Board from time to time. iii) Any three subjects carrying 100 marks each.
OR
Must
have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII)
examination with the Minimum Competancy based vocational courses
conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State
Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, with the following
subjects:-
i) English
ii) Any one of the Modern Indian Language or Modern Foreign Language or Classical language. iii) General Foundation course.
iv)
Any one subject carrying 300 marks from among the Minimum Competancy
based Vocational courses prescribed by the Higher Secondary School
Certificate Examination from time to time.
OR
Must have passed an examination of another University or Body recognised as equivalent thereto.
Bachelor of Education (BEd)
A candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Education Two terms for B.Ed must have passed a Bachelor's degree Full time and examination of this University or a corresponding Four terms for degree examination of degree examination of any other part
time University recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45%
marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor's degree examination and must
examination and must have offered subjects relating to Secondary/ Higher
Secondary level as per the requirements laid down by the State
Government in that regard. Relaxation of the minimum percentage of marks
at the Bachelor's degree examination for candidates
Master of social work (MSW)
A Bachelor's degree in any Faculty of this University or of Examination any other University recognised as equivalent thereto.
Bachelor of Hotel and Tourism Management Studies (BHTMS)
A
candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree Course in
Hotel and Tourism Management shall have to pass XII Standard Examination
of any State Board or its equivalent and secured not less that 50%
marks in the aggregate (45% marks in the case of Backward Class
candidates) Every candidate admitted to the Degree Course in the
Affiliated College/ Recognized Institution conducting the course, shall
have to enroll himself with the University. A candidate who has already
passed his/her Three Year Dploma
in Hotel Management from any recognized Board in India or abroad,
he/she will be admitted directly to the Third Year of the B.H.T.M.S.
course to facilitate him, her to con veil his her Diploma into Degree.
Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS)
A candidate for the degree in Library Science shall have one Year passed a degree examination of the University of Mumbai or of a University recognized by the University.
Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) For being eligible
for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, a
candidate must have passed the Bachelor’s degree examination of the University of Mumbai or an examination of another University recognized as equivalent thereto by the eligibility section of the University of Mumbai.
Knowledge of computers is preferable. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech.
Qualifications are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared
for the final year examination and are waiting for their results are
also eligible to apply. The selection will be subjected to their passing
in those examinations and producing the results before the final
admission.
Bachelor of Science (BSc)A
candidate for being eligible for admission to the three-year integrated
course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) must have
passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination (Std.XII)
conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education Poona
