Application Form will be available on payment of Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- in favour of “HDF School of Management” payable at Bhubaneswar. For sale by mail request may be sent to Admission Co-ordinator, HDF School of Management, Bhubaneswar.
The form can also be downloaded form the websites: - http://www.hdf.ac.in/. The downloaded application form should be sent with a Demand Draft for Rs 600/- in favour of “HDF School of Management payable at Bhubaneswar.
The
completed application form should reach the Admission Co-ordinator.
Applications without requisite fees will not be accepted.
Successful
candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission
offer containing the terms and condition of the admission. For the
offer to be valid, the selected candidates, after going through the
contents of admission offer letter, need confirm and accept the offer
with the terms and conditions for taking admission to the programme
through “Acceptance letter”
Admission Procedure
Successful
candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission
offer letter containing he terms and condition of the admission. For
the offer to be valid, the selected candidates, after going through the
contents of admission offer letter, need confirm and accept the offer
with the terms and conditions for taking admission to the programme
through “Acceptance Letter” along with a demand draft for Rs. 25,000/-
(For PGDM, PGDFM and PGDRM) favouring “HDF School of Management”,
payable at Bhubaneswar towards the admission fees. All the candidates
who have been offered admission have to pay the fees as stipulated in
the admission offer otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the
person next on the waiting list.
Any
graduate with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education and having
minimum 50% aggregate in total marks (or equivalent CGPA) in graduation
can apply for 2 year programs. However, for PGCM any graduate can apply.
The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the
practice followed by the concerned University/Institution form where the
candidate has obtained the degree. In case the University/Institution
does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the
equivalence would be established by the School by dividing obtained CGPA
with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.
Those who are in the final year and expect to complete all the
requirements of graduation.
Selection Criteria
PGDM,
PGDFM and PGDRM candidate’s apply to HDF School of Management need to
appear at least one of the all India entrance examinations (such as CAT,
XAT, MAT, IRMA Test and ATMA) or Orissa JEE Based on the candidate’s
score in one of the above test, short listing will be done. The short
listed candidate’s will be invited for eassy writing, group discussions
and personal interview by the Institute’s professors at different
locations viz, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Patna, Ranchi
and Guwahati. Merit list of candidates will be prepared based on the
scores in CAT/XAT/MAT/IRMA/ATM/OJEE test, essay writing, group
discussions and personal interview and academic achievement. The
weightage will be respectively 60%, 10%, 15%, 10% and 5%.
