Applications are invited for admission to MHA (Master of Hospital Administration) Full
Time Regular Programme (4 Semesters) under cost based scheme for the
academic year 2010-2011 at the School of Management Studies, Dr. John
Matthai Centre, Thrissur (Phone: 0487 2388477)

A bachelor degree in any subject
with not less than 50% marks in aggregate under regular stream of study
(10+2+3 pattern) of University of Calicut or any other
University/Institution approved by the UGC and recognized as equivalent
by University of Calicut. SC/ST and OBC candidates are allowed
relaxation as per University rules (5% relaxation for OBC and other
eligible communities and a mere pass in the case of SC/ST Candidates).
Candidates
awaiting their degree results may also apply. But they should produce
their original degree mark lists at the time of admission.
The selection is based on an entrance
test by the University to be conducted during August 2010, which shall
be followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Based
on entrance test score, candidates will be short listed for Group
Discussion and Personal Interview. The rank list will be prepared based
on the scores obtained in the Entrance Test, GD and PI. Of the total
number of seats 30% of the seats are reserved for applicants who have
passed any of the following degree courses:
MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc MLT, B.Sc Medical Micro biology, B.Sc medical Bio-Chemistry, BDS, BPT, BASLP.
Application forms will be available from
the Co-ordinator, School of Management Studies, Dr.John Matthai Centre,
Aranattukara. P.O., Thrissur – 680 618 on written request and by paying
a fee of Rs. 500/- by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the
Finance Officer, University of Calicut payable at State Bank of
Travancore, Calicut University Branch or through a chalan for Rs.500/-
remitted in the head of account of University of Calicut at Treasuries,
State Bank of Travancore or Friends Janasevana Kendram (Demand Draft
only in the case of the candidates residing outside the state).
For
application form by post, a self-addressed stamped (Rs.15/-) envelope
26 cm x 15 cm has to be attached along with the request and chalan
receipt/ Demand Draft. SC/ST candidates need remit only Rs.167/-
provided a copy of the Community Certificate is produced.
