such Forms must be accompanied DD of Rs.600/-(Rs.150/- for SC/BC
candidates of Haryana) in favour of Registrar, K.U. payable at
Kurukshetra.
Candidates whose result of Final Semester/Final
Year of the qualifying examination is not declared can also apply and
take provisional admission in M. Tech. programmes on their own
responsibility for fulfilling the eligibility.
For admission
to M.Pharmacy and M. Tech. courses the candidates who have passed
GATE/GPAT with valid score in the concerned subject need not to appear
in the Entrance Test. They will be considered for admission to M.Pharmacy and M.Tech. Courses on the basis of GATE/GPAT score.
If
a candidate want to apply more than one M.Tech. Course he will have to
submit separate Application Form for each M.Tech. Course.

M.Tech. Entrance Test will be of the level of qualifying examination of one hour duration and of 100 marks. There will be 50 objective type questions.
Master of Pharmacy There will be 50 (multiple choice) questions based on the subjects of Bachelor of Pharmacy. The candidate will answer the questions by putting tick mark on one of the four choices given in the Answer-sheet attached with Question booklet of Entrance Test.
M.Tech. There will be no negative marking.
Master of Pharmacy The candidate will get two marks for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking.
Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharma.) Bachelor
of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) examination recognized by Kurukshetra University
or from a Institution approved by AICTE with atleast 55% in the
aggregate (50% marks for SC/ST candidates).
M. Tech. Micro Electronic & VLSI Designs B.E./B.Tech
or its equivalent in Electronics/Electronics and Communications.
Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation with
atleast 55% marks in aggregate. OR M.Sc. Electronics Science/Electronics with atleast 55% marks in aggregate.
M.Tech. (Nano Sc. & Tech.) B.
Tech./B.Pharm./M.Sc. in any allied subject of Life Sciences/Physical
Sciences/Earth Sciences with at least 55% marks in aggregate .
M. Tech. Computer Sc. & Engg. M.Sc.
in Computer Science/ Computer Science (Software)/ Mathematics/ Applied
Mathematics/ Physics/ Applied Physics/ Statistics/ Operational
Research/Electronics/ Information Tech. with atleast 60% marks in the
aggregate. OR M.C.A. /M. Tech. in Geophysics with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. OR B.E./B.Tech. in any discipline with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Candidates
with AMIE Examination in the relevant discipline will be considered
only provided that they have passed AMIE examination with 60% or more
marks after having passed diploma examination in the relevant
discipline with 60% or more marks and have atleast 5 years research or
teaching or professional experience.
M.Tech. (Energy & Environmental Mgt.) B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc.
Environment Science or any allied subject of Life Sciences/Physical
Sciences/ Earth Science with atleast 55% marks in aggregate.
M.Tech. Instrumentation Engg. (Credit based system) B.E./B.Tech.
or its equivalent in Instrumentation/Electronics & Instrumentation/

M.Tech. Bio-technology (Credit based system) B.E./B.Tech.
in Bio-technology or Bio-medical Engg. from any AICTE/UGC/ICAR approved
Institution with overall minimum CGPA of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate
(minimum CGPA of 6.25 or 55% marks for SC/ST candidates), preferably
with valid GATE score. OR B. Pharmacy/ Masters degree in
Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Medical Biotechnology/ Veterinary
