An FPM application form can be downloaded from the official website of IIM Calcutta: http://www.iimcal.ac.in/programs/FPM/index.asp. The completed application form must be accompanied by a crossed demand draft for Rs. 300/- payable to “Indian Institute of Management Calcutta”
on a bank in Kolkata. Alternatively, one may write to the
“Administrative Officer (Fellow Programmes and Research), Indian
Institute of Management Calcutta, Diamond Harbour Road, Joka, Kolkata
700104” along with (a) a crossed demand draft for Rs. 300/- payable to
“Indian Institute of Management Calcutta” on a bank in Kolkata (b) a
self addressed unstamped envelope of 9”x12”size (c) desired area(s) of
specialization, and (d) a printed self-addressed sticker. SC/ST
applicants need not pay Rs. 300/- as stated above but they must send an
attested photocopy of their SC/ST certificate. The last date of receipt
of requests for the application form by post is January 08, 2010.
One can apply to a maximum of two areas of specialisation. If you wish
to apply for two areas, please fillin two separate application forms
complete in all respects, for each area of specialisation. However,
there is no need to pay separately - a single payment of Rs. 300/-
would do for both areas. The completed application form(s) should reach
the ‘Administrative Officer (Fellow Programmes and Research)” on or
before January 25, 2010.

An applicant should have:
A Master’s degree in any subject or equivalent professional qualification with at least 55 per cent marks; and minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks at the three year Bachelor’s degree level
OR
A First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. If "Class" is not given by the institute then 60 percent marks (or equivalent grade point) will be considered equivalent to first class. In addition, all applicants must have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks in either the Secondary or the Higher Secondary Examination (or equivalent) of a Board or University. Final year students appearing for the Bachelor’s degree examination in Engineering or Master’s degree examination in any relevant discipline can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be provisionally admitted provided they complete all requirements for obtaining the degree before 30 June 2010. The admission of these candidates will remain provisional until they produce mark sheets proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year degree mark sheets is 31 December 2010. For SC/ST candidates the eligibility conditions may be relaxed.
Selection Applicants for the Fellow Programme will be required to take the CAT or other "test(s) in lieu of CAT" as specified below.
Fellowship
No tuition fee is charged. Each student is given a stipend of Rs. 20,000/- to 24,000/- per month for a duration of (4+1) years with a possibility of extension upto a maximum of one year and annual contingency grant of Rs. 50,000/- in the first year and Rs. 20,000 for 2nd to 5th year. Students may use contingency to buy computer and attending domestic conferences. The Institute provides full support towards participating in one international conference anywhere in the world.
