The application form along with Bulletin of Information may be obtained from the office of the Deputy
Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, VP Chest Institute
Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, against a crossed MICR
Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque only drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi in the following manner:
1. By hand for Rs. 700/- (Rs Seven Hundred only) for General/OBC Categories and Rs. 600/- (Rs. Six Hundred only) for SC/ST/PH Categories between 10:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. on all working days from 10th November, 2009 to 05th December, 2009.
2. By post for Rs. 750/-
(Rs. Seven Hundred and Fifty only) for General/OBC Categories and Rs.
650/- (Rs. Six Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH Categories along with a
self addressed envelope of 10" X 8" upto 28th November, 2009.
Note: - SC/ST/PH
Candidates are requested to bring/ send a copy of the Caste
Certificate/ PH Certificate for obtaining Bulletin of Information.
Procedure for Submission of Application Form for Admission
For ENT Test:-
1. The
application complete in all respects must also be accompanied by
attested copies of the under-mentioned certificates as per requirement
of the course applied:
High School /Higher Secondary Certificate for verification of date of birth.
Certificate in support of educational qualification: BHMS Degree.
Detailed
marks certificate of qualifying examination: I, II & Final
Professional Examination of BHMS or year wise detailed marks
certificates of Bachelor’s Degree, as required.
The compulsory rotating Internship Certificate.
Registration Certificate from Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine.
Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe /OBC Certificate, if applicable.
Physically Handicapped certificate, if applicable.
Employer’s Certificate and a No Objection Certificate (NOC), if employed (as given in the application form).
Note: No original certificate should be attached with the application form.
2. The
candidates who are in service should submit their application form
through their employer or submit No Objection Certificate (Please see
clause 2.5.4).
3. Procedure for Selection of Candidates
The Post Graduate Entrance test PGET (H) will be conducted by the University of Delhi on 13.12.2009 if any seat remains vacant under All India Quota the same shall be transferred to Delhi Quota.
4. Declaration of Result Of PGET (H).
Result of eligible candidates shall be notified on the Notice Board of the Faculty and on the website ie http://admissionnews.com/controlpanel/www.du.ac.in on or before 19.12.2009.
5. Procedure for Counselling and Provisional Admission to PG Courses in Homoeopathy.
Admission would be made strictly on the basis of merit of the eligible candidates determined by marks obtained in the PGET (H).
In
case, two or more candidates obtain equal marks in PGET (H) the
interse- merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of
preference as follows:
1. The
candidate, who has got more aggregate marks, taking into consideration
marks of all the four professional examinations of BHMS course together
in first attempt, will be given preference for admission.
2. If
the candidates have equal marks in BHMS also, after taking into
consideration marks of all the four professional examinations, then the
candidate older/oldest in age will be given preference for admission
3. The
candidates in order of merit will be required to appear before
Homoeopathic Courses Admission Committee for Counselling and admission
on the specified date and time.
4. No
communication would be sent to the individual candidates for appearing
before the Homoeopathic Courses Admission Committee. The candidates
should appear before the Homoeopathic Courses Admission Committee on
the specified dates according to their merit as per schedule given at
page
5. Candidates
should report to the office of the Deputy Registrar (Medical), Faculty
of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building,
University of Delhi,
Delhi-110007.on the stipulated date i.e. 31.12.2009 at 10:00 A.M.
2.12.4 In case a candidate does not report before the Counselling
session on the specified date, he/she shall forfei
1. The
candidate must have passed the degree of Bachelor of Homoeopathic
Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) from the University of Delhi, after
undergoing a course of study of five years and six months duration
including one year compulsory internship which must be completed by
31st July of the year of the admission and should have obtained
permanent registration from the Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine
OR
Candidates
must have passed BHMS from any other University established by law and
recognized by Central Council of Homoeopathic and must have also
completed one year of internship in a recognized hospital on or before
31st July of the year of admission and must have full registration with
State Council /Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine.
2. No candidate should undertake any employment during the period of study.
3. No candidate shall join any other course or study or appear at
any other examination conducted by University or a Public Body.
4. The
inservice candidate who appears in PGET (H) should submit their
application through proper channel or attach a no objection certificate
(NOC) from their employer to the effect that they have no objection and
the candidate will be relieved or granted study leave for pursuing the
course. After declaration of the result a candidate who is in service
and is likely to get admission should initiate the process of obtaining
study leave, so that he/she is able to join the course concerned by
stipulated date.

The Post-Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) for admission to the following courses will be held on Saturday, the 05th February, 2011 at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed form.
Paper I: Pre & Para Clinical subjects 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Paper II: Clinical subjects 11.20 a.m. to 01.20 p.m.
The Entrance Test shall cover all the subjects covered during M.B.B.S. Course, such as:-
Paper I Pre & Para-Clinical subjects i.e. Pathology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Medical Microbiology, Medical Bio-Chemistry and Anatomy.
Paper II Clinical Subjects i.e. General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Paediatrics, Anesthesiology, Dermatology; Venereology & Leprosy, Radio- Diagnosis, Radio-Therapy, Community Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology.
Eligibility Criteria for admission to Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma/MDS Courses (Except CHA and DHE course):
The
candidate must have passed final M.B.B.S. examination for MD/MS Course
and BDS examination for MDS Course of the University of Delhi and must
have completed satisfactorily one year compulsory rotating internship as
on 31.03.2011 and must submit their internship completion certificate
before or at the time of appearing for the counseling.
The candidate must have full registration with the Delhi Medical Council/ State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India.
(a) For MD/MS/Diploma Courses: A
candidate in order to become eligible for admission must obtain 600
marks out of 1200 i.e. 50% marks in the PGMET. Provided that candidates
belonging to SC and ST categories shall be required to obtain 480 marks
out of 1200 i.e. 40% marks in the PGMET and in case of OBC category
candidates shall be required to obtain 540 marks out of 1200 i.e. 45%
marks in PGMET.
(b) For MDS Courses: A
candidate in order to become eligible for admission must obtain 400
marks out of 800 i.e. 50% marks in the PGMET. Provided that 11
candidates belonging to SC and ST categories shall be required to obtain
320 marks out of 800 i.e. 40% marks in the PGMET and in case of OBC
category candidates shall be required to obtain 360 marks out of 800
i.e. 45% marks in PGMET.
The candidates should be medically fit to pursue the allocated course on medical examination.
Eligibility Criteria for admission to MD (Community Health Administration) course: A
candidate must have completed satisfactorily one year of compulsory
rotating internship after passing the final M.B.B.S. examination.
The candidate must have full registration with the Delhi Medical Council/ State Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
The admission of the candidates is made strictly according to the merit based on the PGMET– 2011.
The candidate must have put in 5 years of service on or before 31-03-2011.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Diploma in Health Education (D.H.E.) Course: The candidates seeking admission to the above course shall satisfy the following conditions on or before 31-03-2011:
(a)
Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery recognized by Medical Council
of India with at least one year’s experience of working in General
Medicine/ Primary Health Centre/ Department of Preventive and Social
Medicine or Community Health or in a Medical College. Preference will be given to those candidates who are in service. OR
(b)
Master’s Degree in selected Social Science (i.e. Psychology/ Sociology/
Anthropology/ Social Work/ Economics /Political Science/ Education or
Nursing from recognized University with at least one year’s experience
in community health welfare programmes or teaching in Social Biological
Science/ Physical Education / Home Science. Preference will be given to
those candidates who are in service. OR
(c)
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences as stated in (b) above or Home
Science/ Nursing/ Education or Public Health from a recognized
University, with at least three years experience in community health and
who are in service.
The Entrance test shall cover all the subjects covered during BHMS Course. It shall consist of one paper having three parts. Bifurcation of the paper shall be as follows:-
Part A Pre and Para-Clinical subjects i.e. Anatomy, Physiology and Bio-chemistry, Pathology and Microbiology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. It shall contain 30 multiple choice questions of one mark each.
Part B Clinical Subjects i.e. General Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Venerology & Leprosy, Radio-Diagnosis, Community Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology. It shall contain 30 multiple choice questions of one mark each.
Part C Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Organon & Homoeopathic Philosophy, Repertory. It shall contain 60 multiple choice questions of one mark each. Thus the maximum marks for Parts A, B & C shall be – Part-A 30 marks. Part –B 30 marks. Part –C 60 marks. Total – 120 marks.
