PGDM-BE Students, opting for EDI-PGP through CAT, MAT or XAT have to apply to EDI also by acquiring a Prospectus-cum-Application Form. Students may obtain this by paying Rs 1000/- in cash or by sending a Demand Draft, drawn in favour of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, payable at Ahmedabad, from EDI Head/Branch or Project Offices. Students will be short listed for the personal interview on the basis of CAT, MAT & XAT
scores. However, such candidates have to appear for EDI's
Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test (EAT). Besides CAT, MAT & XAT, the
Institute reserves the right to select candidates on the basis of its
own written test [EDI Entrance Exam (EEE)] and personal interview.
PGDM-NGO
Application Form:
To obtain Prospectus-cum-Application Form, candidates can either pay in cash at EDI offices or send a Demand Draft of Rs 1,000.00 (US $ 70 in case of International Students) favoring EDI, Ahmedabad, payable at Ahmedabad. Demand Draft should be accompanied by complete postal address.
Students
can also deposit the amount applicable at the HDFC branch in their
area, and send a payment proof to EDI with a request for the
prospectus.

Application forms can also be downloaded from the website and sent along with the prescribed amount for processing the same.
Applications
can also be sent through e-mail but will not be processed unless the
amount of Rs. 1,000.00 (For Indian & SAARC nations' students) or US
$ 70 (in case of foreign students) reaches EDI by demand draft/ bank
transfer latest by 15 January 2010.

PGDM-BE Students must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of
the students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) or
Persons with Disability (PWD) category. Students appearing for the
final degree examination, at the time of application, can also apply.
Students with relevant work experience will be preferred.
Students
opting for the admission in the EDI's PGP have to obtain CAT, MAT or
XAT bulletin available on sale with Axis Bank or any IIM, AIMA study
centres or Bank of Baroda branches and XLRI, Jamshedpur, respectively. For more details, refer EDI website.
PGDM-NGO
A
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from recognized university is
essential for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management of NGOs
(PGDMN). Students appearing for the final degree examination at the
time of application can also apply. S/he must have cleared a bachelor's
degree at the time of admission. Candidates having work experience are
encouraged to apply. A total of 40 seats are available for PGDMN
course. Aspirants with valid CAT or MAT scores need not undertake EDI's
Entrance Test and can be directly called for Personal Interviews (PI);
however, they will have to undertake Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test
(EAT) on the day of PI. The candidate should have valid score during 1-5 March 2010.
NGOs are also encouraged to sponsor/nominate their staff members to strengthen their workforce.
Selection Procedure
Indian Students
Selection
will be on the basis of a written test and personal interview to gauge
the candidate's commitment towards the development sector. The written
test will be held at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Durg, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Ranchi,
Roorkee, Vadodara on 31 January 2010. Applicants are required to give 2
choices forthe test centre in order of their preference.
On
clearing the EDI Entrance Examination, the short listed candidates
would be called for a Personal Interviews during 1-5 March 2010. The
centres for Personal Interviews are Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata and Lucknow. Applicants are required to give choice for the Interview centre in the Application Form.
The
Institute reserves the right to allocate the test and interview centre.
The same will be communicated to the candidate through call letter.
